***FREE ENTRY***

If we had a voodoo doll of you, we wouldn't poke it! 🖤 Please join us for our VOODOO FEST! A day celebrating music, arts and worshiping all things spooky season. Dress to impress, the weirder the better - COSTUMES ENCOURAGED! Not only do we have 1 band, we've got THREE! Even cooler? All three bands are women fronted! Along with tunes that will put a spell on you we'll have multiple local vendors, food trucks and entertainment like tarot readings and more. Just days before Halloween this will drive home those chilling vibes that we all know and love. Music starts at 2:30pm but get here early to settle in for a full day of magic.

Bands: Modern Refuge, Shell Games & Kalyopē - Bios below!

Modern Refuge: Since their inception in 2020, Modern Refuge has carved out a unique space in the vibrant music scene of New Haven, Connecticut and has become one of the most exciting, must-see live acts around.  The group consists of Sam Winfield (vocals), Vin Amendola (guitar), Brian Winfield (drums), Jim McLoughlin (bass), Laurel Joy Bennett (keys). Modern Refuge combines folk rock intimacy with orchestral build-ups and psych rock jams that hark back to the high-energy acts of the 70s. They have opened for international touring acts including Sammy Hagar and the Circle, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Talk, and Rozzi. They are currently recording their first studio album, set to be released in Fall of 2024.

Kalyopē: Kalyopē is a four-piece group based out of Black Rock, Connecticut, featuring RĀNE (lead vocals/guitar), Sean Elkind (vocals/keys), Nick Hanna (bass), and Anthony Chabla (drums). Boldly vulnerable lyricism will take you on a journey of introspection over empathic instrumentals, drawing inspiration from a wide array of indie rock, RnB, jazz and soul influences.

Shell Games: CT’s newest female-fronted synth-indie-pop rockers Shell Games play a dynamic mix of electro-pop-rock that blends intricate melodies with powerful beats to captivate and energize listeners.
